When you set up your Gradewallah profile, we ask for a small set of details to personalise your experience:
Gradewallah offers the option to sign in using your Google or GitHub account, powered by Supabase Auth. When you choose this option, we receive only the basic profile information made available by that provider — typically your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not request access to your contacts, files, repositories, or any other data beyond what is needed to identify your account.
We never receive or store your Google or GitHub password. Authentication is handled entirely by the respective provider and Supabase's secure authentication infrastructure.
The CGPA Tracker, Grade Calculator, and Result Analyser features require you to enter academic marks, subject credits, and semester details. This data is used exclusively to:
This academic data is used solely for in-app calculations and is never shared with any employer, recruiter, institution, or third party.
If you choose to use the DSA Tracker, you may provide your public usernames or profile links for platforms such as LeetCode, Codeforces, CodeChef, and GitHub. Gradewallah fetches publicly available statistics from these platforms (such as problems solved or contest ratings) to display in your dashboard. We do not access any private data on these platforms and do not store your credentials for them.
Like most web platforms, Gradewallah's servers and infrastructure providers may automatically log limited technical information, such as browser type, device type, and general usage patterns (for example, which features are opened). This information is used only in aggregate to improve performance and reliability, and is not used to individually identify or track you across other sites.
We use the information described above strictly to:
As described in our Terms & Conditions, Gradewallah displays internship and job listings retrieved through official APIs and feeds — including JSearch, Adzuna, the Internshala RSS feed, Remotive, Jobicy, Arbeitnow, and TheMuse. When you click "Apply Now" on a listing, you are redirected to the original third-party site, which has its own separate privacy policy governing any information you submit there. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of any external site before applying.
Account and profile data synced through sign-in is securely stored using Supabase, which provides encrypted data storage and industry-standard security practices. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your account and academic data for as long as your account remains active, or until you request deletion. If you stop using Gradewallah without deleting your account, your data may remain stored until a deletion request is made.
You have the right to:
